Now that I am only taking 5 weddings a year, it gives me time to really enjoy the process with my couples and really nail all the images. Deborah and Alex had a gorgeous may wedding at the beautiful Rockledge Gardens in Brevard County. There are endless possibilities there as far as little nooks and crannies to shoot in and Deborah and Alex were so trusting and open to whatever I thought was best. This is the ideal type of relationship you want with your couples so it made the day go incredibly smooth.
Deborah and Alex chose the perfect details for a garden style wedding and gave each guest a succulent (which by the way they say is hard to kill, but I have my friends. Not proud). Fans as programs for the guests were perfect for the hot summer day here in Florida and their color palette complimented the greenery that was already abundant there at the gardens and really made for some stunning images.
As they began to arrive, Alex was already ready and waiting. Deborah headed to the greenhouse, which had the most gorgeous light, and put her dress on. She was buttoned up by her bridesmaids and mom. The weather stayed clear and though it was hot, everyone was excited to finally see these two tie the knot. After each was ready, they decided on a first look and it was so worth it. The excitement beamed off their faces and a little surprise that Deborah had for Alex went over amazingly.
Their nerves were settled and it was time for the ceremony! It was quick and beautiful and I loved being there as both their photographer and their friend. Seeing my other friends in their seats watching with such anticipation was very sweet. Alex stomped that glass and they were officially married and Deborah was thrilled to finally add 'York' as her last name.
Other fun events throughout the night!
Thank you sweet friends for not only letting me be such a fun part of your day, but to be trusted to capture your memories as well! Love you both!
